During Drupa 2016 TTS will show printable textile media for UV curable inks. TTS will be present at the AGFA Graphics stand B62 in Hall 8A, where AGFA will organise live printing demonstrations on TTS' textile media products with AGFA printers running on UV curable inks. The products shown can be used for front-lit textile frames (Heavy Display) as well as back lit frames (Lightbox soft knitted).

Why UV printing on TTS textile media products?

TTS is convinced by the advantages of UV printing. TTS' media Lightbox Soft Knitted en Heavy Display have their own use and advantages:

Lightbox Soft Knitted

Lightbox soft knitted is a special designed textile for back lit applications and is printable with UV curable inks. Due to the knitted structure of the product the textile has a fair amount of stretch which is great for tensioning the printed textile in stretch frames and is free of any form of white or black creasing hence the textile can be folded for shipment or storage after printing. Lightbox soft knitted is available from stock in roll widths of 155, 252, 310 and 505 cm. The product passes the Euroclass flame retandancy standard, is Oekotex certified and produced under REACH norms.

Heavy Display

Heavy display is a high quality 240 gsm knitted polyester display fabric which is perfectly usable as a textile for front-lit stretch frames. Because of the knitted nature the textile is easy to stretch in frames and is, after stretching, crease-free. Heavy Display is printable with UV curable inks and since it has no extra coating on top it, it is also very price competitive. Heavy Display is available from stock in roll widths of 155, 252, 310 and 505 cm. The product passes B1, M1 and Euroclass flame retandancy standards, is Oekotex certified and produced under REACH norms.
